Nigeria has been in chains since 1914, we must break it to move forward — Akande

Enoch Akande, has expressed disappointment that Nigerians are yet to realize the damages done to them since the creation of the country. He said from all available indication and obvious reality, Nigeria was not created to succeed, but to rather inflict pains on Nigerians from generations to generations until the system finally collapses.

He said;

History is there, but we don't need to read books about history, or need a prophet to know that Nigeria isn't working and won't work. If after all these years of nationhood we're still not sure of our future as a nation, I'm sorry, it's not working.

I think I will stop celebrating October 1st since it no longer makes sense.

What are we celebrating? Chain? The chain of 1914? 1960? 1983? 2015? Nigeria was created to fail. It was created to inflict pains. It's like the British casted spell that no Nigeria leader no matter his good intentions, will succeed.

Yes we've had leaders, but whenever something good is about to happen, we suddenly fall back to ground zero. I don't want to mention Jonathan but I must admit that despite all the corruption allegations against his administration, he was the most promising president Nigeria ever had despite the challenges faced by the country at that time.

However, today we are stuck again and back to ground zero. The APC government itself admitted it is starting from scratch.

The British spell must be very strong to have  overpowered our much religious might. The solution is simple. Restructuring won't do much good. Breaking the British chain is the only legitimate solution. It will come with a cost, but that's the price of freedom.
